 The
Orpen Memorial Hall
Built from money left in the will of Mr Orpen, a respected local resident, in
1938, the hall is home of the village Social Club and also available for private
bookings. Apart from the main hall there is the John Lampon Hall which can
be split into 2 rooms for smaller events and meetings; kitchen facilities are
also available.
Facilities also include the Lorkin Daniell sports field and two tennis courts.
For further information contact the Administrator who is available to deal
with inquiries at any reasonable time. Bookings should be made at the Hall
on Thursdays between 7:00pm and 8:00pm, please use the side entrance. The
Administrator is Mrs June Mayhew who can be contacted on 01206 240694.
